Felt great, glad to have gotten to run with my roomy. Within the first block we bumped into a young man that stopped in his tracks when confronted with our elegance, poise, and beauty. He exclaimed how beautiful we are and instead of making kissing noises actually just said, "Kiss! Kiss!" We ran up Vermont (aka the best) and down 16th, then did some zig zagging through the new condo and UCSF buildings. Saw crazy huge perfect cuts of copper, about 8 inches thick, 8 feet wide, and two stories high. Like giant dominoes waiting for the next quake... pretty impressive, though. Then we encountered moto-cross crowd (sp? I dunno...) at AT&T park. Some big event, I guess. While waiting at the light, someone smashed a beer bottle on the sidewalk, and everyone got real excited about that, "whoo hoo!". It was 11:45 am. We managed through that crowd, it was quite a few rowdy people. Under the bay bridge, past the ferry building and turned around and came back. Great run! SO excited to hang with my peeps post-kaiser!

Sounds like a lot of things happened along the running route. I bet you would not feel the distance covered. Great long run!

We both left out the part about the uber competitive runner couple... wow - they were intense. And I have to say... the girl was totally kicking the guys butt.
