Went great, glad I got out there before the rain came! I felt stiff in the calves at first, but once that first mile was in it was all good. Followed with:
floor leg lift w/ ball: 25x3
    Ball crunches: 60x3

Love running in the old 'hood, but you've got to watch out for little, yappy dogs on sidewalk-crossing leashes.

Nice first run after the big race. Felt ok, still tight and tender where that cramp hit my calf. So glad it was sunny today!

  3. goodKaiser Half 13.1 mi / 02:10 09:55 pace

Wow, my first half! I planned to run 10 minute miles and I did! For a while I was doing much better than the plans. At mile 9 I was at 1:22, but then a cramp in my left calf messed it all up :( I had to stop three times to stretch it out, and then ... read more

Nice run, felt great! So glad the weather is back to pretty again! Cherry blossoms are starting to bloom, birds are singing, and the grass is dry enough in for various transients and drunks to sleep comfortably again! I pushed myself on this short r... read more

  5. goodRound 'n stuff 5 mi / 00:48 09:41 pace

Took it easy, getting over the stomach flu. Felt great to be out there running again! Caught myself smiling a couple times, what a goof. Legs felt great, super stoked my stomach didn't flip on me. Lost? Yes, that's tonight.

  6. goodI got to run with Kathy S.! 10 mi / 01:34 09:24 pace

Felt great, glad to have gotten to run with my roomy. Within the first block we bumped into a young man that stopped in his tracks when confronted with our elegance, poise, and beauty. He exclaimed how beautiful we are and instead of making kissing no... read more

We both left out the part about the uber competitive runner couple... wow - they were intense. And I have to say... the girl was totally kicking the guys butt.

This was a nice run, felt great. Up the Vermont hill (yes, the real crookedist in SF- Kristen K.J. was the first to show it to me!) was a great start to it. Running up 16th street is annoying, I bided my time by counting the hipsters. Lost count and... read more
