      I've added twice weekly swims ever since I read the book "Run Less, Run Faster." It's one the book's recommendations for increasing your running speed. Something about increasing oxygen intake.

      It's happening and you don't even notice. :o) So, the lady who started with a short run here and there is now doing brick workouts and joining in extra miles with friends!!!AWESOME!!

    Ran 4k, cycled 20mins, stepper 10mins, felt so good to get some exercise done today, I find it difficult to do much at the weekend as I'm always busy..Need to make time !! Happy Monday people!:)

      Nice Susan. Looks like you packed in a lot of exercise. I think if you can get enough of these workouts in during the week, then go have some fun over the weekend. I hope you had a nice weekend, and an easy week this week.

  20. Update on the foam roller..I LOVE IT!..wish my doctor had suggested it years ago when my back problem started!..feels better than it has in ages!.. Thanks to everyone who recommended it:)

      Awesome! Did you get the smooth kind, or the really tortuous one that has ridges? Those look particularly nasty. I have a smooth foam roller FYI.

      Susan my daughter got me my foam roller and I was hesitant but once I tried it like you I LOVED it. Glad it's working so well for you - isn't it nice when something doesn't have to be complicated.
