So, day #2 of my 'getting back on the damn horse that threw me' lol Today consisted of 5 min warm up, 2 min run, 10 min walk, 2 min run, 10 min walk, 2 min run, 11 min walk
Jake came out as I started my cool down, so I had to slow down a tad. He was running to keep up with me (my legs are just a wee bit longer than his) and with his arm still in a sling...I didn't want to take a chance of him falling.
So my goal is to get moving enough and running at least half of a 5k so I can take part in the Striders Memorial 5k on the 31st. That was such a fun race last year! I'm okay with baby steps...as long as they're in the right direction! :o)

Keep up the baby steps Sunnee! The more you move the more your body will respond to the healing circulation! Hope Jakey is feeling better!

We should all heal as well as a 6 yo!! He only needed pain meds for about 4 days and he's back to being "Jake". lol It hasn't slowed him down at all! He goes to the ortho tomorrow so I hope I'll have more info on his healing. :o)

Doesn't matter how small the steps are, Sunnee--just as long as you're moving forward. Keep going!
