So, I haven't been on DM in quite awhile. I haven't really been able to work out much. :o( The motivation was there, just not the energy. Now I'm struggling with the motivation. Over the past 8-10 weeks, my body just fell apart. My joint stiffness has gotten so bad that some mornings I can't walk because the joints in my feet hurt so bad, my elbows and knees hurt to bend and my fingers are so tight I can't make a fist. Walking down the stairs is brutal! The fatigue is the worst part though. It reminds me of when I had Mono in high school. I just finished my 3rd round of steriods last week. The Docs are convinced that it is Auto-Immune, and they're leaning towards Rhuematoid Arthritis. I don't care what label they give it, just help me fix it so I can get back to my life! I was going to wait until after my appt with the Rheumatologist on Monday in the hopes that I'd have more answers to share instead of just whining. But as I was reading about everyone's races yetserday, I broke down in tears because I've been missing you all so much. It was the motivation I needed to get out there. I don't know if I can run much right now, but today I could walk. I'm going to take it one day at a time, that's all I can do. I'm pretty out of the loop as to what races are coming up, so if you think of it, drop me a line. I may not run it...but I'd like to come cheer y'all on! :o)
