I'm out of biking shape - that's what I learned today. I also need a new route home. The way I went, avoiding going uphill on Rt. 4 by 84, was both hilly and a little more precarious (in terms of traffic) than I'd like. Coming down Rt. 4 seemed OK, so maybe I should just try going up and seeing if it's really that bad.
PS. I won't be logging every commute. I'm only aiming for twice a week on the bike, so it's not that it would get annoying. I just don't see the value in logging those miles. I will log the first on a particular route so that I create the record and some notes for myself or anyone else that may be thinking of doing the same thing.
