Met up with Rachel H. for the first half of the ride, which was great! The other half wasn't as great. My new bike adjustment hurts my (ahem) lady parts. Ouch. Will try different bike shorts this weekend, and if it still hurts I will have to go back and have them readjust the saddle. Used my aerobars for the first time...they will definitely take some getting used to. Not my fastest ride on this route, but it was nice having company in the beginning!

ask the other women about different saddles made for women, shorts, etc. Might need to have the bike re-fitted. Otherwise, good ride!

Getting used to those aerobars, and not chatting while biking :) will increase your speed...
the ahem is likely the aero position - sent you a note about that

Do you have a saddle for women? With holes in the right places? :-) Also, I have noticed that the shape of the short padding makes a big differentce too.

Sugar....I've had to have my bike re-fitted so many times to find that perfect spot....well, now I can mess with the seat-post myself...but for a while it was back and forth constantly....and as you know, I had to try 100s of seats..ok 12....to find my baby!! Once you get it though....but every time they mess with it up front, it screws up my comfort in the back and I have to get on the trainer and tweak...

Thanks everyone. I have had this bike for a year and a half and have never had an issue before I got fitted on Monday night...so while yes, a new saddle might be nice (and I can't afford it right now anyway) I think it's the way he tilted it.

I LOVE the bike seat I have. From the Triathlete store in Poway. It has a cut out in the middle for our girl parts.
