good Beachy Head Trail Marathon 26 mi 04:25 10:11 pace

without doubt the most horrendous thing I have done in my life. truly horrible, not sure I "enjoyed" any of it, no doubt be back next year for more punishment

3,500ft of climb, 200steps at mile18 accompanied by a bagpiper, just lots and lots of hills, then more hills. oh, and it was 3C and the wind was over 16mph

not sure Beachy Head is about enjoyment...apparently its the "2nd hardest marathon in the UK", can't comment on the exactness, but hard is definitely is.

happy with 4hr25, legs were in pieces miles before the finish, not The Wall just the relentless up and down, I honestly think running sub3:20 on the road is more achievable than running sub4 on that course.

proper running madness!

The man's a machine!!!! Great job only been awhile since the last one remember, love the mention of the piper, lol as if that made the climb even harder - funny.

Total madness! I've leisurely strolled a portion of the area before. Can't imagine running 26.2 miles up and down it!
