Haven't run much lately. Getting fat and grumpy. Time to work back into it. These were OK miles.

OK miles are better than NO miles. Great job getting back at it.

alright Barton Creek 9 mi
Up Lost Creek Blvd. Down to Barton Creek. South to 360 bridge. North to Hill of Life. Big rollers back to office. Beat. Why does 62 degrees feel like 85 in TX?

Beautiful cold lunchtime shorty. Still icy in the shade but absolutely gorgeous out. Felt stiff from Saturday's 16 miler.

great Springwater 16 mi
Crisp morning run with my peeps. Does 28 degrees still count as crisp? Maybe frigid would be a better description. Still a great run, and the longest in 3 months.

good 7.36 mi
Good chilly 35 degree run. There seems to be an inversion going on - I could taste the car exhaust. Ugh.

THAT'S why it smells so bad! I thought I was getting gassed at a stop light!

What's a Yasso? Whatever it is, good work!

Hi Lena. Yasso's are 800m repeats, run at your target marathon time divided by 60. For example, if your are training for a 4 hour marathon, you run your 800m repeats in 4 minutes, with jog or walk breaks in between. Named for Bart Yasso of Runners World fame. See http://www.bartyasso.com/800s.
-
Interesting. I can run 800s in under 4 minutes but I don't think I could do a 4 hour marathon.
