      Hi Lena. Yasso's are 800m repeats, run at your target marathon time divided by 60. For example, if your are training for a 4 hour marathon, you run your 800m repeats in 4 minutes, with jog or walk breaks in between. Named for Bart Yasso of Runners World fame.       Interesting. I can run 800s in under 4 minutes but I don't think I could do a 4 hour marathon.

      Yeah it's all theoretical! I can run 10 800s at 3:20 but my marathon PR is 3:44. Still they are a great workout.
