The plan was for a 12 minute warm up, followed by 3 x 12 minutes hard (each with a 2 minute recovery), followed by a 6 minute cool down. Wanted to get the HR up to 160bpm on each of the hard efforts, but to be honest, my legs would barely go fast enough tonight. Pretty pleased with the effort though, and that's another 36 minutes of quality running in the bank. Thankfully, just the one run on the cards tomorrow - think the legs are needing a little bit of recovery time....


At 6:25 pace, that is my huffing, puffin about to puke pake lol. Great job Steve!

I'm very interested in your updated training approach...probably going to take some adjustment in the neuromuscular sense, but I think that you're on to a good thing in terms of right-pacing for your aerobic capacity. Nice job today...lots of quick miles!
