More #200situps, and the dirty dozen of my fave exercises...

  2. greatStep Back In Time 8.24 mi 00:56 06:51 pace

Great run around several of my old training routes. VERY enjoyable!

Pace feels so easy compared to back in Virginia Beach. Humidity will be tough to get used to again...

    Have a great weekend!

Tough workout today. Struggled to hit the 45 at the end. Needed a few pauses in the up position...

Got it done though. On to Week 6!

      Awesome Steve! Well Done!
I'm honestly afraid of the days when I'll begin 8 sets. Not far off, I just finished (repeated) Week 4.
Killer program Sir! It's transforming me!

Short, quick run + pub = NICE!! Hope you're enjoying your weather; we're having some craziness here - tornado warning, thunder and lightning, hail, flash floods... Betcha can't wait to come back!

  5. goodMore core

More of the same. Just trying to maintain a strong core and keep the expanding vacation waistline at bay...

    • Brian A. Brian A.

Way to keep the "waistline monster" away, Bulldog.

That's why they make elastic waistband pants, lol! Good for you - I know you'll come back strong from vacation. We miss you and Ally around here!

  6. Shared Photo

Crossing the line at Sunday's Inverclyde Leisure 5k in a lifetime best time of 16:50

    • Greg S. Greg S.

That may be the most scenic finish line I've ever seen in a 5K. Granted, I haven't seen many 5K finish lines, but that's a nice one. Congrats again on the PR.

My favorite workout of the whole six week plan -- love the "easier" double sets! Finished off with a max of 50. Feeling good....

My profile pic is from a 10K race two years ago. I think I used it because it was the only decent photo I had on the PC I used to set up my Dailymile account. I think I'll probably change it soon! I don't remeber my time from the race (because it wasn't a PB!) but I do remember turning the last corner, seeing the finish line and managing to finish like a train!

My profile picture is from the OBX marathon and the first time I broke a 4 hour marathon. It was my best one before I qualified for Boston the following year!

  10. greatAround The Cloch 6.72 mi 00:46 06:50 pace

Great morning run to shake out the vacation cobwebs. Ran easy on the way out to Lunderston Bay, but picked things up a little on the way back.

Hills in the last mile are tremendous. Wish I had something similar in Virginia Beach. Real lung/quad buster... read more

I just realized something...it's early morning here, but it's mid-morning there! Still haven't adjusted or is this your "lunch" run? :-)

Very nice run Steve! Great pace.

Even with my early morning post, I missed this in my feed with the time difference. Great run! Glad you finally found a hill that's about the same as the ones I run on each day ;-)
