So hard to breath. Shirt was so sweaty that I had to take it off after only 3 miles and when I weighed myself, I lost 2 lbs of water. If it is this humid on Sunday, I am toast.

Super crappy/humid day made it hard to breath, so this run was much more difficult than it should have been.

good Betzwood to VF Park loop 6.3 mi 00:49 07:45 pace
A satisfying run. Was unsure how this would go with the high temps and 2 days post tooth extraction. But I seemed to have most of my strengh back and no bleeding so was pleased. Took forever to coo... read more

Great run! That would have been a huge distraction but you got through it! Think about using the warm temps like you would higher altitude. It helps you later!

Great post-boo-boo-tooth run. I suffered through the heat yesterday on my run too and agree that it took forever for me to cool down...I was literally still sweating 2 hours later. We will acclimate though! ROCK ON!

great Broad St with Achilles 10 mi 01:12 07:13 pace
A wonderful day of racing with my blind friend Ivonne. Our original plan was to just take it easy with 7:30-7:45 splits since she was recovering from London and I from Boston. But after starting in... read more

Wow!!! Awesome job! First on doing an excellent job leading your friend, second on getting a BSR PR, and third for your GF's PR. It was a good day and you didn't have to use your AK.

good NWRC trail loop 5.29 mi 00:47 08:50 pace
Nope, not a misprint. I did run on trails briefly tonight, despite my aversion to them during marathon season. The 2 miles on road were right on MP, while the trails are always slower. But seeing 2... read more

good NWRC loop 5.06 mi 00:38 07:34 pace
Demo'ed the new Saucony Kinvara 4. Good short distance racing shoe but might be too minimal for longer than a half. Felt really fresh tonight so I am looking forward to having fun at Broad St.

Great run! Thanks for the review of the shoe, I have a pair of the 3's that I pull out from time to time and I like them.

So very glad to know that you are ok. I tracked you while you ran it, so I had hoped you had cleared out of there in time, but was very relieved when Vira posted that you were ok. You did awesome on Monday.

good Dusk shakeout run 3.16 mi 00:25 07:51 pace
Decided to sneak in one last run for good measure. Normally Thurs would be my last before a Sunday marathon but the extra day threw me off. Just my runner's OCD showing.

When you took off your shirt, women around the world issued a collective "oooooooooooooo!!!!" :-) nice sweat run tonight sloan!!

Should be much cooler on Sunday.

Great job getting that done! Ittakes some focus when it's unfavorable conditions out there. I'd much rather run in drier cooler air but I'm starting to embrace this stuff knowing it will help me later.
