Nice run. But doing 6 miles on a track would drive me crazy!! unless maybe if I was doing speed work, but then I have a hard time counting past 5 laps before my mind drifts off, so I need to track work with a gps or a better lap watch than the one I have. I hope the hip recovers quick. You should know how far you can push it during recovery.

6 miles on the track was definitely rough. I had trouble keeping track of whether I was on lap one or 4 or 3 or 2 for each mile. However, the level running surface coupled with the low impact seemed like a great idea for recovering. I definitely wouldn't suggest it to anyone to do just for fun!! :)

Good run man. I dont know much about these repeats people are always talking about. You will have to show me different workout ideas.

Whats your 5k time right now? I ran one a few weeks ago at 20:12, but I feel I can whoop that right now, my PR is 19:07, which I plan on beating this summer sometime.

I did forget the cartwheels Liz...thanks for reminding me. Be sure to add 50 yards of cart wheels to the end of every work out from here on out.

Thanks Dan!! They're pretty easy to do as long as you have it all planned out. I coached HS track and cross country for 3 years, so I still have all my track plans from then. As for my 5k time, I ran a 19:56 on the 4th, but I'm almost positive I could have gone around 19:00 had it not been my first one in years. I'd definitely like to beat my PR this summ
