9 hours included stops at pit stops and a detour over to Old Town Bicycle to get Linda's bike checked out after it jumped its chain again and caught a couple times between the outer and center ring on the front.

6% grade for 2 miles makes the 5% grade seem easy! This thing is all hills.

Going down them isn't bad. It's the climbing part. Feels like all you're doing is hill climbs. Nice thing is the course is easy to keep track of. Won't be getting lost on the bike unless you're really out of it. :)
We actually passed a couple guys going up the big hill. Granny-gears to the rescue!

BTW Denise, traffic on Saturday & Sunday was nice and light along I-95. I think you had weekday trucker traffic that we didn't see. There were still trucks and traffic, but overall not bad.
