A bit windy but felt fairly comfortable the entire way. Alternating between easy/moderate pace and MP.

Stanley, glad you made it back safely. It was unfortunate that your amazing accomplishments (sub 3 hours -- WOW!) were marred by the unfortunate events, but a big CONGRATS! Nice race report.

Hi Paul. Glad you're alright as well. It's so unfortunate what happened. Aside from what happened, hope you still had a good race experience in Boston.

I had a good experience, ran a 3:25. The course wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and Heartbreak Hill was manageable. I did feel my quads were getting a good workout, but I ran the course pretty conservatively from start to finish, so never really hit the wall. So what's next for you? I'm planning on running the San Diego Rock-n-Roll Marathon in early June, then will probably take some time off from marathons and focus on some shorter races.

Ill be taking a long break from marathon running. Will try to focus on shorter distances (5km-HM), maybe some ultrarunning and for sure, some triathlons.
Good luck with your next marathon! Wow, back-to-back marathons. If you don't have Pete Pfizinger's book already, I might recommend following his multiple marathon schedule in his program. (Heard good things about it)
