Step II: The class did great! Used the regular (higher) step again tonight, and it didn't seem to make my foot pain any worse. It still tightens/flairs afte workouts, but it's not bad.

Thanks Lori for the advice, really! After the first Body Challenge class last week, the same thoughts entered my mind...is 90 minutes really a good idea starting back? I did the pool class today and of course, that was easier on the knee. I can understand what you said about people getting injured or too sore and not wanting to come back, my Mom isn't g

I think you could try a brace, and pool workouts are a GREAT way to relieve that stress on your skeletal system. I hate that your mom has given up b/c it was so hard on her. I bet that class was hard on EVERYONE--even the veteran fitness participants. I just keep telling myself with the running: "one workout at a time...one minute at a time...sometimes one step at a time."
