This may sound simplistic but the ultimate goal of training for any event is getting to the starting line, uninjured. Pulling back, rethinking training strategy, setting realistic goals, running for fun! I'm going to do that right now. Go Hawks!

The operative word here seems to be "kinked" . I am finding this is, in fact, a new and almost daily challenge. The goal is to preserve the ability to run well into my 80s. Whatever it takes :-)

Oh, same here, Bill! When you were in Austin did you get to take a dip at Barton Springs? I came to love it while recovering from a running injury last year and now use AJ (aquajogging/running) as cross-training, ice bath and soul-fortification :-)
