    The combination of sore throat from allergies and exhaustion from school plus lifeguard training foiled my 8-miler plans once again. At least I got four in... I WILL get in the 8 this weekend!

      Yes, it does! We spend about an hour and a half in the water. Start and end class with laps, spend the rest doing rescues, backboarding, etc. Definitely helping me get ready for tri season! But this half-marathon coming up in a couple weeks has me scared.

    Holy wind! Got a good core workout just holding my bike upright. Between that and my tired legs from last night's run, the ride was so-so, but I was just happy to be in the saddle, in the sun.

    Nice, easy run for my first day back after 10 whole days off for vacation. Did a ton of walking and swimming/riding waves while we were gone, but no "formal" training.

    Rode to the YMCA to register for my water safety class and back. Other than discovering 10 miles in that my hammer gel was frozen, it was a euphoric ride! Beautiful day.

    Good run on this warm, sunny day, but right knee was starting to get irritated toward the end again. Tried to run in the middle of the road as much as possible and that helped.
