Leg strength and lipty

I caved and went to the gym today. 30 min leg strength and 30 min on the lipty. I am thinking that my gym workouts are going to have to be moved to after work. Riding in the morning is much more enjoyable than trying to avoid the creeper at the gym. Plus...I have a race to get ready for, so I want to work my legs hard in the morning with hill repeats and fun stuff like that.
