Dark, cold, wet. Done. Furthest distance yet in the Hattoris, legs feel fine as a write this (the day after). Looking forward to better weather.

-4C this morning, but the dry air means no frost! Great conditions for an early run. Running more in the minimal Hattoris these days - comfortable on runs of up to an hour now. Soon, I'll get back ... read more

good 10 on the mill 10 mi 01:31 09:05 pace
Slower and steady. Trying to keep the mind interested seems to be the trick. As soon as your head leaves the game, the body follows.

Dan - yes I'm a lot more cautious these days too. Rather than the complete transition I attempted last year, I'm simply rotating my shoes, keeping the Kinvaras for the longer runs. Long term goal is still to go 100% minimal, but I'm in no rush. Just trying to enjoy the ride.

good Flash Trail 5.91 mi 00:54 09:04 pace

Yay way to go Mrs. C! View the wind as a device conveniently placed for increasing stamina - and taking the odd beak when it gusts and forces you to stop dead for a moment!
