great MY FIRST SWIM WORKOUT!!! 450 m 00:25 89:24 pace

I was super slow. I chose the "stop & go" lane and took a rest every 50m's ;) It was one of the hardest workouts for breathing I've ever had! the last half hour I grabbed a float belt and did some pool running :) FUN!!! definitely going back.

    Good for you! Excellent effort! I still take a rest every 25m, which is one pool length. But am getting better and better at not resting too long.

    @Sam - definitely not! I had real issues with breathing and never tried to take a breath to the left. I felt like I could never get enough air. I switch stroked every 25m. Doing breast stroke as a rest ;) I did back stroke and freestyle.....there was even 25m of "skulling" lol and then one legs only

    Try it out next time, you'll notice a diff for sure. I'd love to get back into swimming but my bleached hair wouldn't like that. LOL
