Official time 38:42. I am so surprised that I pulled this off! My super secret goal if I didn’t have hip issues was sub 8 min/mile pace. I was thrilled to see sub-40. Splits: 7:57, 7:51, 7:47, 7:56, 7:05 (0.91 miles according to Garmin). It seems like this race is always a tiny bit short. Makes up for the long hill at the end. ;)
I made it through, my hip bothered me for the first 2 miles and then it felt ok. Now it doesn’t, but at least it doesn’t seem worse. I plan on taking at least a week off from running and see how that goes. If all else fails I’ll see my doc and beg for an MRI.

Awesome race! I do love that course, except for that uphill at the finish. I ran it once, maybe in 41 minutes. I had to walk the hill for a bit. But you definitely owned it!! Hope that hip subsides. I'd do some flexors to stretch that baby out.
