Beautiful day! Still getting that mild oxygen debt feeling in my arms the day after I do girly pushups. Wimpy. Did 3 intervals, estimated 2 or so minutes each at about 6:30/mile pace.

Thanks, Lynn. :) Cara, when I've been training and am in decent shape, I usually run 7:20 to 8:00 min miles because that's what feels right. Then again, I don't usually run too far b/c I have no time b/w work and 4 kiddos. I'm going to have to change that up if I'm going to want to run a marathon later this year. The first run on my calendar is the 1.8 mile Locust Fest Beer Run in Riverwest (June), and I'm hoping to match my fastest time of around 10:40. If I can find a 5K next weekend I might try it!

I've just heard good things about it. Nice course. Seems like a really cool race director. And I'm not looking to register for anything just yet...and with milwaukee or chicago waiting isn't an option! I don't know anyone in the area but my husband would go with. We were thinking of taking the ferry over...all very tentative plans...
