Humid then rainy. I don't think I've experienced warm weather + big raindrops since I left Chicago/Pittsburgh 7 years ago! The rain felt good. Ended with an errand to buy a yoga mat and m... read more

Bay Area folks - is anyone running (or thinking about running) Brazen's Wildcat Canyon race on 5/18? There are 21 spots left for the half, and I'm on the fence...

alright West Side Highway 4 mi 00:37 09:13 pace

Garmin-users: what watch do you have, and would you recommend it? My beloved Forerunner 205 no longer stays on for over 3.5 hours. My only specific need: the ability to program my own interval work... read more

i've got the forerunner 110 in pink and grey. I love how light it is compared to my old chunky one, but it isn't as specific during a mile telling me my pace - it estimates what the pace will be at the end of the mile. if that makes any sense? Also, i don't really use it to sync data to dm or ever look at my mile splits, so it's just really good for every run, while i'm running.

Nice hike! I've run those trails on my way from the Bort Meadow Staging Area to the Lake Chabot Marina a couple times - beautiful, yet lightly used and one of the less hilly routes in the EB Parks.

good Big GGP Loop 7.16 mi 01:07 09:19 pace
Nice weather and a nice run. Taper makes me happy...7 miles is a welcome respite from trying to squeeze in 12 on a Wednesday! I ran out to the ocean, waved at it, and looped back before sunset.

The ocean was looking mighty fine today. Happy taper!
