Hot and humid run in Bangkok. Should have gotten out there two hours earlier. The peacocks were showing off like ads for NBC, kept it entertaining.

Nice brick-paved running trail through the gardens, peacocks were calling out and keeping me company.

Dan ran 10.03 kilometers in 56 mins blahSnoqualmie K-Bog Loop 10K – 10.03 km / 00:57 09:06 pace
Persistent rain, under-dressed. A soccer match on the field below and ducks splash-landing in the pond kept me company at first, then just my shoes in the puddles. http://bit.ly/aQfUSD

Underdressed and rainy conditions- good job sticking with the run!

I love running in the rain :) It was the cold and no gloves that made it a bit iffy. 45F/7C so a little on the chilly side.

You were more brave than I would ever be in regards to running in the rain at THAT weather! No way for me!!!! I'd be running in my dreams underneath some warm and comfy comforter, hahaha.

Nice night-time run. Started in the bowling alley parking lot, past the town log, and up the hill before looping back. I like the elevation gain on this run, starting at 400 ft and cresting at 1150 ft. http://bit.ly/8Xn8Pu

It *felt* longer than 15K too. I thought it would be colder so was wearing way too much, and the hill climb was a bit grueling. I want to keep at it on this route though; the hill work is good stuff.

The hill work will give you more strength on your runs. :o)

I'm headed to Bangkok soon and I'd love to get some runs in while I'm there. Anyone have any experience running in the city there? I'd hate to waste such a great place with only treadmill running.

one review helpfully begins, "Run Bangkok? Are you crazy? Well, despite the heat, noise, and pollution it can be done and you can even live to tell about it."

thx Joyce, and thx for the link Brian! Looks like there's a good place to run near where we are staying, now I just have to convince a couple of colleagues to get out there with me. :)

thx! The funny thing is, even though it was sunny, our first few days there were *cold* morning/night, so I only got in one run with sunny and warm (this one). But I'll take it!
