  1. RUN
blah Sanagmon Valley Trail 13.13 mi 02:07 09:40 pace

Inaugural Marathon Marvels Half Marathon. Felt pretty good up to about 9 miles. Absolutely fell apart the last three miles. The midday run made it very hard for me to figure out the pre-run fuel... read more

Good job anyway. I saw you on the trail. We were headed out and you were headed back. I agree about the midday run fueling. I felt off also.

Started to get tired towards the end and lost my form. Still working on the FF drills, which are helping, just need to get the distance in.

  4. VELO
good Interurban Trail 22.66 mi 01:22 16.5mph pace

Good ride with Josh and Dave. Think the speed sensor on my Garmin was acting up, so not sure on the speed for this ride. Can't believe this is February.

  5. RUN
good Panera West to Park 12.04 mi 01:53 09:25 pace

Just like everybody else today, the weather sucked. Good run overall though, took it nice and easy, just putting in the miles.

  6. swim

Pretty good swim tonight. Thankful to have someone else in the pool that I know! Also, first time swimming over 1600 yards in one workout.

Keep it up Nick. I think I am going to start hitting the pool later this month/early next month for some base building before the training starts.

Half-Wits - Experimentation with Chi running. Interesting to experience, not sure how much of an advantage it will be. My calfs are burning a lil bit after that little adventure. Threw in a good... read more

What is Chi running? I have a M/W night class so I've been trying to mirror the halfwits weekday training on T/Th, but all I found to follow was the interval/tempo schedule.

Chi running is very similar to Pose, if you've ever heard of that. Basically, trying to teach you to lean forward and get up onto the ball of your foot, not heel striking. It KILLED my calves, LOL.

    great Half-Wits Moxo Run 5.91 mi 00:51 08:36 pace

Pushed the pace a little bit with Josh, felt really good out there today. Finally starting to get back into the swing of this training thing. Gotta love a cut-back week.

  13. RUN
alright Interval Loop 3.11 mi 00:26 08:30 pace

What's that crunching sound? Oh, its just the frozen sweat in my beanie breaking, LOL. Not the best run, but decent given the conditions.
