Pretty well. Right after the thunderstorm and since I have a thing for running in the rain, I was more than happy to get out there!

Good...still hot, but I was running at my normal time. Ran without my music, oddly that worked better for me. A bit of hip pain, but that seems to be generated by riding the jet ski more than the ... read more

blah 3.1 mi
Hot and not fun at all. Blech. Had the wrong iPod, the wrong headphones and my hip was killing me from the insane ride on the waverunner on really bumpy Lake Champlain. However, if that's the mo... read more

Fine, riding with Matt, showing him one of my running routes after we got home from the marina. Lovely evening on the lake, but since I couldn't swim (the lake is still like ICE), I needed a littl... read more

Does the lake every really warm up? It has been well over 10 years since I've went in Lake Champlain. I love to bike but I need to decide what to do with Aidan. Do I get a trailer that hooks on my bike or get a bike seat? Both kind of scare me but I need to do something so he can come with.

For road biking I used to use the trailer that towed behind. It was perfect and Barrett had a blast in there! Books, movies and snacks all helped her to be busy. Thankfully she now mountain bikes with me and is really, really good at trail riding. She's going to start racing this year.
I can swim in the lake usually, but it's still really bad. Matt got in for about two seconds and he will swim in anything. He jumped off the boat and got immediately back on. My dog wanted in so I dipped him in quicalmost 3 years ago • Like

Thanks, I am going to look into getting a trailer then. And I will never go in the lake unless the water is really warm. My favorite place the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico - I love swimming there. And St. Maarten, I can't wait until Aidan is a little older so we can take him here to visit.

We enjoyed St. Maarten this year, but I don't think it will be where our next vacation is. This is our year to vaca with the kids and they voted Hawaii again. I do not want that long flight yet again, so I'm trying to come up with something better. As long as it's beachy, they won't care.
The lake warms up enough for me quick enough...it better, since we practically live on our boat from May til October. I sleep soooo much better on the lake.almost 3 years ago • Like

good Regular out of Eastgate. 4.02 mi
Decent. Very hot, but at least it was my regular running time. Still slower than I'd like, but that's not what I'm trying to build right now.
Definitely way better than Sunday. I've got to get us... read more -

Not great. Might be the wine and the late night drinking and watching the lake/sailboats. Well worth it though. I've got to make up for the slow pace and poor performance this week. I usually d... read more

Way to get it done! Hips seem to be giving everyone pain lately -- though, I'm grateful I don't have a replaced hip. That sounds pretty painful -- at least whatever required it in the first place! Hopefully this heat/humidity breaks soon!

Sorry you had the wrong iPod, I've done that - grabbed Aidan's and then had to listen to baby songs the whole run lol. Hope the pain in your hip is relieved at least some if it can't fully be relieved. Try to take it easy! And great job proving them wrong!!

Thanks Jannette, it was replaced when I was a baby, around 8 months old I think, so I've never known any different. I wasn't supposed to be able to do lots of things, but I've played competitive contact sports my whole life and run since I was very young. However, they say it should have needed to be replaced after 15-20 years and I've had mine way longer...and it's still holding up. :)
Michelle, we have too many iPods in this house. If I took Barrett's I'd be in trouble-she's got the iTouch and I
