First 10K - best part was that I finished. lol Totally kicked my butt. Looks like I have to up my training if I'm gonna survive the 1/2 in Oct. Used RunKeeper on my phone but it messed up - was off by a mile. Second time that has happened to me. Grrr.... I can see exactly where it 'blipped'. Will defnitely be paying closer attention in the future. Was very thankful to have my sister and brother-in-law along with me. Great motivators. My sister finished and then came back to where I was and finished a second time with me. Isn't she sweet?


Congrats on finishing your first 10K, Sherry! The first one is always the most nerve-wracking as you never have a good idea of how you'll do, whether your training was enough, blah blah blah. Now you have a PR to beat on your next one.

Thanks everyone! Feels good to have it behind me. My next 10K is just over 4 weeks away. I've got some work to do. :-)
