    This was a late evening run, as I missed getting to the gym before it closed. It was really nice, very quiet, and I kept up a good and steady pace.

    Hadn't been to the gym for over a week, so this workout was a bit of a struggle -- but next day I felt really good!

      Wow, Is that true? I do check my heart rate throughout and increasing heart rate is another goal and measure (I have to figure out if that's something I can track on DailyMile....still a technology novice...)

    A walk after the snowstorm -- some brisk, but also some birdwatching.... very pretty, but not close to a cross-country ski workout!

      Thank you for asking, because the weather was so bad that it wasn't easy to find them! It was only in one very low tree-covered area where I suddenly saw 9 specied (but should we talk about birds on DM....?)

    Pretty good; I tried a new setting -- "fat burn.." and hopefully that's what happened..! My average heart rate was definitely higher 144-6

      Thank you! I go to "Forever Fit," a gym that's right next to our supermarket! I often go food-shopping after a workout....naturally buy everything that I want to eat right then!
