So much schedule readjusting... Planned two 6s this weekend but they didn't happen, so I finally decided to do next weekend's 9 today and the 2 6s next weekend. The dog ran 5 with me and then I ran the last 4 on my own. It seemed like extra stops for ... read more

The warm weather really affected my run today, I think. It's time for the big adjustment... I always have trouble this time of year.

I always need to adjust to temperature changes. the worst is the warm weather. Made my track workout a bit harder last night.

Thanks, Sharon! So glad to be back at it. I have to start running some double long runs on the weekend because I'm planning to run two half marathons in one weekend in a few weeks. Should be interesting.

Wow two half's in one weekend!! Have you run a half before ?
Yes, I've run a handful of halfs and a full marathon, but this should be different. Eventually, I would like to run the Goofy at Disney World (half on Saturday, full on Sunday). There's a group called the Half Fanatics (halffanatics.com) that you can join if you do a certain number of halfs in a short amount of time. I've been wanting to join for a while, and doing 2 in 2 days gets me to the 4th level of membership, so that's why I'm doing something this crazy... :D

I have these alike them quite a bit, it takes about 30-40 miles for them to soften up a bit. I hope you enjoy the miles.

Intended to do three with the friend and the stroller and the dog but the rain soaked the child, who refused the plastic cover for the stroller. So we turned back early. I was okay with it. It was my third midweek run this week and I'm planning a long ... read more

Funny, mine wanted to go so bad but then his face got wet. I kept lying, "We are on our way home now honey." I was only going for 2.5 though so it wasn't that bad.

Do what you gotta do to get it done, right? Unfortunately, it wasn't my kid this time, so we turned back. Hope your ear is feeling better (esp by Tuesday!).

A lot easier to trick your own kid than a friends. I remember giving my daughter lollipop after lollipop to keep her in that stroller.

Very easy run with my friend Amalie and her adorable son Bodie and Daffin (my dog). We chatted and stopped for dropped toys and doggie breaks. Since I ran yesterday, I didn't really want to push it today, so it was a good pace. I'm ready to really get ... read more

I hate when that happens. I need to pull the Body Glide back out after its winter hibernation. Never seem to need it on the treadmill, but outdoors is another story.
