Great! Crashed three weeks ago and this was my first time back on a bike. What a relief. I hate feeling scared.

  2. Logging into dailymile since my Austin Marathon in 2014! I've been dealing with a variety of injuries off and on which has limited my training but I'm mostly back at it with the Spa Girl ... read more

I think you did awesome! Finishing a marathon when you're feeling crappy is such an accomplishment and it's a testament to how strong you are - not just physically, but mentally as well! Nice job!

I am! It's my second and I took a very different approach to my training this time around. It's mental more than anything; this I know from my first marathon. I know I can do it, I just have to be prepared to be uncomfortable for over 5 1/2 hours. That's where the mental part comes in! You can totally do the half and think of it this way- it's your first so you know you'll PR :)
