  1. RUN
blah Rusty miles 8.01 mi 01:24 10:32 pace

After a weekend of traveling to/from CA for a wedding and eating/drinking indulgently, this run felt far from great. I almost called it after 6 miles, but glad I kept going for the last 2.

  2. RUN
good Midweek miles 10.03 mi 01:45 10:25 pace

This and next week are going to be weird. My Fridays weekends are booked, so I need to get my miles in during the week. But thus far I've not been good at being consistent. We'll see how ... read more

  3. RUN
good Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo 10k 6.2 mi 00:58 09:18 pace

I dunno where this pace came from, but I’ll take it since it’s one of the faster 10ks I’ve had in seemingly forever. I guess the secret to running faster is to do 15 miles the day before lolol

  4. RUN
good Belle Isle 15 mi 02:41 10:43 pace

Two laps around the island and then some extra. Windy AF for parts of the course!

  5. RUN
good Thursday trot 5.85 mi 01:00 10:15 pace

What a difference from yesterday temperature-wise!

  6. RUN
blah Hot AF 4.37 mi 00:46 10:27 pace

Felt like running in a sauna! Felt fine the first half but then I think the heat just got to me.

  7. RUN
    good Warmup 2 mi 00:19 09:17 pace

    Treadmill warmup before leg day

  8. RUN
alright Milford Labor Day 30 (aka MILF) 18.6 mi 03:40 11:48 pace

Unofficial time. I knew I was underprepared for the mileage and hills, but I wanted to do this anyway. I went slowly and managed to get to mile 14 or so before feeling gassed. Those last few miles ... read more

  9. RUN
    good Shakeout 3.11 mi 00:33 10:28 pace

A little somethin' before tomorrow's 30k. I sure as heck ain't ready for the mileage -- especially compared to last year when I PR'd by 15 minutes! -- but I'm up to the ch... read more

you got this, MB. I am equally as guilty, but since you did it prior, you sure as heck can do it again! All between the ears :)

You go, MB!! I used to love that course, even though it always kicked my butt, until they started running bike races at the same time. They still do that?

  10. RUN
good Midweek miles 8.4 mi 01:28 10:27 pace

Toasty, sweaty run around town. :)

  11. RUN
    good Warmup 2 mi 00:19 09:20 pace

Treadmill warmup before a strength & core session. Started slowly but kept increasing the pace until I was sub-9 at the end. Why can't outside runs feel this decent? :D

  12. RUN
    good Fiver 5 mi

Some indoor run time since I wasn't quite feeling the 90-degree heat and humidity :)

  13. RUN
    alright Crim 10 mi 01:46 10:33 pace

After a 90-minute delay due to lightning in the area, we finally got to run! The rain cleared up after the first few miles, thankfully. Probably my slowest time on this course, but I'm just gl... read more

  14. RUN
    good Shorty 3.1 mi 00:33 10:36 pace

A lil shakeout before tomorrow's Crim event. :)

  15. RUN
    good Riverfront 6.67 mi 01:10 10:31 pace

    Slow n' steady

  16. RUN
good Impromptu run 5.2 mi 00:58 11:11 pace

My usual Tuesday appt with my trainer got moved to Wednesday this week, so I had a free evening. An easy run/walk with a friend seemed in order. 😊

  17. RUN
    good Riverfront 8.05 mi 01:24 10:26 pace

Here, there, and all around. Started off feeling sluggish but felt good as I continued on. Yay! Glad to have felt decent after yesterday’s 12.

  18. RUN
good Sunday dozen 12 mi 02:07 10:35 pace

Felt a lot better than Friday, yay! Chugging along in the humidity.

  19. RUN
blah Not my day 7 mi 01:18 11:08 pace

Everything about this run felt rough! Breathing trouble, heavy legs, achy knees, etc. I’m sure the humidity didn’t help, but damn I hope future runs will be better!
