  1. RUN
    good Yellow Lake Loop 1:30 / 3:30 5 km

There was a very light misting rain for the run...the coolness was nice, the humidity...not so much.

  2. swim
good Swimming laps 1200 yd 00:45 66:00 pace

    400 yards (non-stop) warm-up / endurance
    8 x 25 yards sprint + 25 yard recovery
    400 yards (1 x 200, 1 x 100, 2 x 50) cool down

good Spin Class 10 mi 00:45 13.3mph pace

is it bad that I now have a favorite spin bike?

  4. RUN
good Yellow Lake Loop -- 1.25 min ... 5 km

Felt better on the run than I did last week. My rt knee almost hyper-extend at one point...I guess I need to continue building up the strength in it.

  5. FIT
    alright BodyPump 01:00

Rt knee was sore...but otherwise a good workout

  6. VELO
good Spin Class 10 mi 00:45 13.3mph pace

Spin class, I can't get myself to work as hard on the bike as I do in a spin class. Mileage is based on my most recent average time from a real ride.

  7. RUN
good Yellow Lake Loop -- 1 min run... 5 km

Saw the physical therapist last week hoping to prevent some of the pain that I get whenever I try to start running. He dialed my goals way back (to tell the truth it was a bit demotivating).

Haven't posted here in a while. I rode the Cascade Bicycle Club's "Flying Wheels" event today. I don't have a lot of base miles on the bike...but I've been taking spin... read more

It is a torn Achilles, mostly related to lower leg flexibility (actually inflexibility). I didn't crash, i didn't pop on any of the hills, i didn't bonk... I had a great ride; i just can't walk without a limp right now.

On the plus side, i got "heel lift" inserts for my shoes...which reduce the strain on my Achilles while walking. But it makes me about 1/2" taller...which is fun when i am already over 15" taller than my wife.

great 2,000 miles on the new bike 28 mi 01:40 16.8mph pace

I hit 2,000 miles on the commute home tonight! With the huge month I had during Bike To Work Month, my mileage has been tailing off dramatically the past few months. (But I’ve had a better Bike/Lif... read more

Thank you both. Got the bike the 2nd week in April and I've loved it. (My other bikes are a bit jealous though)

Too humid + flat tire 18.5 mi 01:35 11.7mph pace

It was hot and muggy. The traffic was backed up getting out of Seattle, so i rode the sidewalk. This means i go significantly faster than the cars... but i will miss EVERY single light.

What caused the flat? Listen to Bobby McFerrin & just enjoy the ride - don't worry, be happy :D. I noticed it was humid too... thought it was just me.

I wish i knew what caused the flat. I pulled the tire off and made about 5 passes around the inside to make sure that there was nothing in there. I inflated the flat tube beside the road... but i couldn't find the leak. (I can rarely find them without submerging the tube in water or using soap and water.)

It's better just to toss the old tube and put in a new one when you get to those cases. Also, add checking the rim and rim tape to your list if you get repeated punctures.

Why did you have a 10# CO2 canister? Most of mine are 16g.

Although it might be nice to carry enough CO2 to inflate 100s of tires... this is a food grade CO2 canister that I brought in to get retrofitted so that i can make my own soda (pop)
