NO PAIN, I think I might be BACK!! I defenitely need to strengthen the legs again as they were a little shaky, but I wont complain as a run with no pain is a win in my book :) :)

1st run in 3weeks due to injury. Not even close to PR but I will take it given the fact that each ground strike of the left heel today resulted in stabbing pain...nice , flat trail race.

Welll, the doc shelved me for a little while today. Gonna try and heel up these feet. I guess I have to do a little biking for a couple weeks. Hopefully I'll be back hitting the pavement soon...

Dang, that was a run full of challenges. Congrats on logging the miles, Sean. When my heels were bruised, I used some inexpensive Dr. Scholl's gel inserts for just the heel. They worked as a good enough short term fix 'til I healed.

That's one race that I've never even been tempted to enter ;-) Take your consolation in the fact that you even finished at all. Happy birthday do your son. So what are the chances that you're actually going to eat a slice of birthday cake today?

I think 9 is definitely where it starts getting tough!! You did great! I'm sorry you had a bad experience at the race. I love it!! I'm not sure I would eat all the donuts again, but it was also my third year running.
