Official time: 1:40:47 for a 7:42 average. Thought I might be going to fast through mile 6, but what the hey it felt good : 7:20 - 7:06 - 7:24 - 7:23 - 7:35 - 7:30. Death Hill (aka Calvert Hill) killed my pace: 8:33. Took me a half mile to get my breath back: 7:46. Getting made I'm running slow. 7:31 - 7:27. 3 more miles. Legs not moving. Heard someone yell don't give up, so I kept running. 7:46 - 8:06 (WTF, I'm pissed & deing at the same time.) Last mile - 7:23 - last .23 at 1:52. Overall a great race even though my goal was 1:40:xx I wish I ran a 1:39 and I thought I had it. Maybe a flatter course next time will help. The second half was pretty hilly.

I ran a really easy effort because I wasn't sure about my calf. Did 1:44 which included a little over a minute of bathroom stop =( happy though, given there was no body part bothered me. Great job again, you crushed it!
