By the time I got ready to ride, the t-storms had arrived. They were also predicting hail in some areas. It was an easy decision to ride indoors. The goal today was to try to maintain a brisk and steady pace throughout the ride.
The first 30 minutes flew by. The next hour wasn't bad either. By this time though, I started to tire. With some concentration, I was able to maintain the same pace but it did take more of an effort. In the end, I was very happy with the pace and the mileage but I was very happy to be done. :-)

Wise move Scott...great spin!

Good ride though I cannot understand why a few thunderstorms with lightening strikes should keep you off of you bike. Actually I can understand why and your alternative workout was certainly a good one.

Impressive indoor ride Scott! I don't know how you can stay on a stationary for more than 30 mins. I go crazy after about 15 min and max is no more than 30 mins. Great job!

Thanks very much Sarat, David, Neville, Richard andn Sandy!! @Sandy, I can remember when staying on the trainer for 45 minutes seemed like an eternity. Like anything, I guess you get used to the mind-numbing aspect of the trainer. :-)
