After too many days off, I resumed where I left off. Week One, Day Three. I wasn't sure if the extra rest was going to be a good thing or a bad thing. But I had to get back to it.
The goal today was 5 sets as follows: 11/15/9/9/13+ with the last set consisting of at least 13 push ups, but doing as many as you can.
I didn't have high hopes after the first set because I was already tired and felt like the last 2 were a little bit of a struggle. I was determined to finish it out, so onto the second set. More of a struggle. The third and fourth sets were only 9 each, so those didn't go too badly. Now for the last set. Talk about your surprises! I managed to do 20 push ups. Granted, the last 2 were a struggle and I wasn't sure I could get all the way back up on the last one. But I did!! Total push ups: 64! Yeah, I'm finally on to Week Two!
