After too many days off, I resumed where I left off. Week One, Day Three. I wasn't sure if the extra rest was going to be a good thing or a bad thing. But I had to get back to it.
The goal today was 5 sets as follows: 11/15/9/9/13+ with the last set consisting of at least 13 push ups, but doing as many as you can.
I didn't have high hopes after the first set because I was already tired and felt like the last 2 were a little bit of a struggle. I was determined to finish it out, so onto the second set. More of a struggle. The third and fourth sets were only 9 each, so those didn't go too badly. Now for the last set. Talk about your surprises! I managed to do 20 push ups. Granted, the last 2 were a struggle and I wasn't sure I could get all the way back up on the last one. But I did!! Total push ups: 64! Yeah, I'm finally on to Week Two!
Results: 11/15/9/9/20 - Total: 64


Oh Lord, you just reminded me that I have to do them as well. UG...

My last PT test in the Army I did 74 push ups in 2 minutes, now I can get out 25 in that same time.

Wow, lots more push ups than I could do. I hope you are inspiring me to do something upper body. My legs are model quality, but my upper body is wimpy. Great job, good to hear from you again

Thanks very much Jason and Michael!! Funny how this works. I can find time to ride for 2.5 hours but it's really hard to find the 10 minutes to do this workout every other day. :-) But it is helping!
