Friday Ride - I felt pretty good and had a beautiful day for a ride. The downside my quads were very weak from the previous hard ride. It was a struggle to keep pushing for the entire ride, especially up the grades. Fortunately, this is a flat route! The upside is that my bum issue is soooooo much better. A little delicate, but nothing I can't handle ... and it's getting better with each passing day!! I think riding on the trainer 3 out of 4 days was the break I needed.

I didn't really try to ride a given pace. My quads were so tired though, I felt like I was riding in slow motion. So I kept pushing with what little I had in them. I had briefly thought about extending the ride for a bit. We were expecting weekend guests at the camp anytime. Combine that with my tired quads and I decided it was best to stop here. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised with the pace. I didn't think I rode anywhere near that pace. Nice!
