#dailymission I used to carry spare everything when running. Now that I'm cycling, let's see. I have a tire pump, 2 spare tubes, glueless patch kit, spoke wrench, digital tire pressure gage and several light jackets and sweatshirts. Hmmm. Looks like I'm a bit paranoid about flat tires. :-)

Hmmm, I carry a phone and a pack of gum.

Same as you Scott but not sure what a tire is - that what happens to me ;-)

I carry to inner tubes, glueless patch kit, bike pump, bike levels to change the tire, and a cell phone but I still had to walk home when the pump failed. So I added a new pump and maybe I'll start carrying Co2 to pump up the tires.

I carry a lot more on my rides including a phone, tire levers, etc. But the stuff in the car is my "backup" stuff I guess. I also read on DM where someone carries stuff in his/her car (sorry, I don't remember who) to fix a flat should they come across a down rider. I liked that idea so I also carry enough to help out should the opportunity present itself.

But Scott, you are a former runner! When I go out on my bike I always take a bike lock and figure I'll just run home if I get a flat and lock my bike up!!

good stuff Scott! only thing I'd suggest adding is a spare gel and a multi-tool

What is it they say, 'People pack around what they fear most, something, something...'
My guess is you really loathe flats and don't enjoy the cold ;-)

@Ryan, I'm not sure I could manage a run home, especially carrying my bike. But I'm not opposed to a long walk! :-) @Pedro, funny you should say this. When I did an inventory of my car, I added several things including a multi-tool. I didn't think of a spare gel or two, but I'm going to add those now. I forget those often! @Jeff, you nailed it!! :-D
