      Is it that you need more miles on the flats to feel like you get a workout? Or is it just easier to get more miles on the flats?

      @Julie, I don't know that it has anything to do with the flats. I think I'm just addicted to the miles. Having said that, it is generally easier to get miles on the flats, even when it's windy.
