    What a difference a day makes. Yesterday it just wasn't there, but today the legs felt great!

    Haven't been able to run much lately, so I'm a bit out of synch. Today was still a solid run and I'm happy with the way I feel. Cold and breezy was a change of pace from our recent weather.

    Finally on the downside of the strep and stomach bug in our house. Also, just began P90X2, so running has been hard to get on the radar these days.

      Good to hear strep is on its way out. What do you think of P90X2?

      So far, I'm liking P90X2. It is quite different from P90X in that (so far) there are a lot fewer pushup and pull ups. I'm only on phase 1, but the emphasis is on core strength, stability, and balance. Virtually every move forces you to concentrate on multiple areas at a time. It's not a brutal as I was expecting, but I have a feeling that they are just laying a foundation to go off the charts in phases 2 and 3. As with any Beachbody product, the workouts are legit and you get out what you put in.

      Going to do the Ultra. Hopefully it will be one of my last long training runs before attempting a 50 miler in March. We'll see, can't have any setbacks.

      Yes, 50K at "The Duel" in Wichita Falls. It is a full weekend of racing with 50K and Marathon distances on Sat and Sun. I'm only doing the 50K trail on Saturday. Not sure I'm ready, but going for it anyway.
