It was a really nice day for running with a lot of clouds, a little bit of sun, and even a rain shower. Everything after the halfway point was a little bit of a struggle. Knees and feet were complaining and the end seemed oh so far away, but I kept up my slow and steady pace, the miles were counted off one-by-one, and I finally finished my longest run yet! Celebrated with a blackberry milkshake from Burgerville and took the rest of the day off.

You remind me of myself in 2008 training for my first marathon. I ran about the same pace as well.

WTG Sho!! That's an awesome distance to conquer. To me, 18 always marks a line between doable and challenging...once a run is over 18 I get nervous several days in advance ;) Impressive! I don't know how you do it alone!
