great Gungdong to Expo Park Loop 4.2 mi 00:38 09:02 pace
Music - Vampire Weekend, "Contra" - first seven tracks are great to run to. After that, it's a bit more downbeat, so I changed over to VHS or BETA's "Bring on the Comets." That ... read more

good 6.2 mi 00:54 08:41 pace
This was the race day. It was my first run in almost two weeks. I smoked shisha and drank a beer the night before to prepare myself and slept very little. Over all, I think it was more a test of wi... read more

RUN
good 4.1 mi 00:38 09:16 pace
Music: Them Crooked Vultures, "Self-Titled"
Feelin' great after this run, and it makes me lament my four-day binge and purge, eating myself into stupidity. Why can't every day be a Saturday? -
walk
great Apt. to Gapcheon Startline/Back 1.17 mi 00:15:00 12:49 pace
Stretching, listening to some tunes, shaking off the cobwebs. Sometimes I forget how a nice warm-up and cool-down can be.

Music - MGMT's "Oracular Spectacular" - didn't realize this album was so short - 40 min. Since I started it during my warm-up stretches, it pooped out with about three minutes left to go.... read more

good Jijok Jog 2.09 mi 00:20 09:35 pace
This is the first day of my 7-day run-a-thon. Didn't listen to music and holy crap, was it cold ... which allowed me to take my ridiculous snowboarding sherpa hat. Very stylish.

RUN
tired Gungdong/Bridge 2 Loop 4.13 mi 00:50 12:06 pace

Just a leisurely stroll. Played some frisbee down at Expo for a while. Wore the Vibrams for it. No worries.

blah Biggest Run Yet ... 5.01 mi 00:51 10:15 pace
I ran the entire length, but stopped twice to stretch. My calves are sore from the new Vibrams and from jumping back into running after such a long absence. It's a GOOD sore, though! Working it out... read more

Nice job. Getting out there frequently, I see. I need fast paced or hard rock music to keep me running long distances. audiobooks and slow music just make me jog/walk. not sure why....

alright Catchy Name #1 3.17 mi 00:28 08:48 pace

No sir! Bill Bryson ... hilarious writer. I think after I'm finished with his audiobook, I'm going to start picking an album per run to listen to ... all the way through. Ya know ... that thing us old fucks used to do before bands started only selling 1s and 0s on iTunes.
