    Took a couple weeks off after my first marathon; today did an easy 3 miles, I was worried that I would be out of shape and tired, but I guess the body remembers... I felt really good.

    I'm still a little sore and was only able to do 2 easy miles today; had to walk the first 1/2 mile, before I was able to actually run. Guess I need a few more days of rest and stretching.

      Active recovery will help you get rid of the soreness. A bit of walking or biking or swimming will help! Nice recovery miles!
