Went to the boring 'ol Centennial Trail again...but I do appreciate its smoothness...easier on the legs than running in town on concrete sidewalks and on roads. My right groin and Achilles tendon have been bothering me. Today I figured out a modified way to move faster than a walk and get my heart rate up a little. Sort of a cross between race walking and Chi walking...short stride, high cadence, just on the fine line between walking with one foot always on the ground and jogging with two feet off the ground simultaneously. If I could get the rhythm going smooth enough, I felt very little stress on my groin...but, of course, I couldn't keep it going perfectly, and occasionally I took a break to just walk normally for a few seconds. But overall I'm pleased with being able to adapt and still get out there!
