Watched the first period of the Pens vs Flyers game. I'm not happy with the 1-2 score, yet that game ain't over, plus it is a long season.

good Evening Run 3.81 mi 00:39 10:07 pace

Ran up Whitehorse Road hill and back. A couple cars that didn't like my blinking arm band and presence on the side of the road, yet I managed ok. Saw a deer on my way back.

No offense, since you live in the area, but the more I'm around Phoenixville drivers, the more I realize that they are all assholes. I never have any problem anywhere else, but around p-ville, whether running or riding, I have problems with cars.

great Celebration Ironman Recovery ... 10.78 mi 00:37 17.4mph pace

I wanted to ride Tuesday and Wednesday, yet I had sleep to catch up on. LOL! I really am not sore. It is true once again that I am more sore after a 70.3 than a 140.6. I still need to write my race... read more

Seems like your original plan was pretty tight from IM to marathon, so to subtract a week from that sounds pretty daunting to me. That's a lot of traveling for that kind of experience. I'd probably treat it as a sunk cost and just rest my legs.

Tom, that's what I was thinking. I might see if CHIM can send me the swag. I can always do this another year.

Sounds prudent. Seems unrealistic that you could move the date of your IM and not impact other races on the calendar.
