The second part of my cycling workout consisted of 12 min of 60/30 intervals..This was 60 sec as fast as I could go then 30 sec on a higher tension..My bike has 8 tensions so it went something like this : 1-1, 1-2,1-3,1-4,1-5,1-6,1-7,1-8..It was great until I got to tension 6..I had to stand and peddle..Then came 7 and it got hard..Then 8..And let me tell ya it was like cycling in cement!! LOL When I was finished my legs were like jelly..But I loved it..I can't wait to do it again and maybe repeat the rounds for a harder workout..But today was a test to see how it would go and it was awesome...This took a total of 12min and I ended up going 5.1K...I burned 130 cal..My AVHR was 155 and my Max was 163...Final part to follow..


Wow! That sounds like fun! I almost broke my bike once when I tried upping the tension and standing to peddle! Lol! Great workout!

I loved spinning class! That's what I was trying to mimic on my cheapy bike when I stopped my YMCA membership. My poor bike isn't anything like a spinning bike! :-) Let me know if you get a spinning bike. I'd love to know what you get.
