      thanks, I was very surprised and pleased. I'd hoped to run in Italy, but it would have been pretty dangerous in Naples! How are you guys doing?

      Thanks, Cristy! I'm going to try different shoes for a bit. I read that the vibrams can cause calf strains if there are too many hills and you train too fast. . . where I live, it's all hills! I am just hoping this doesn't knock me out of the race (half-marathon on Nov. 4). We leave for 3 weeks in Italy on Sunday, not sure how much running I'll do there, either.
