My 10k split pace was 9:13-had Brittany(she ran the marathon) with me which was so great for the first half of the race! But just after mile 8, I hit a serious wall. I all the sudden started getting really cold, had goosebumps all over, and felt tingly and shaky. Not sure if that's from going out too fast, or if I just wasn't timing my nutrition correctly-I'm guessing it's nutrition. Any tips would be appreciated. I was getting 25g of carbs every half hour until that point, so I'm not sure if the clif shots are the wrong kind for me? I've just never felt that way on my long runs before. bah...
SOOO frustrating because I really wanted to get a sub-2 hour half...and I was right on my pace plan to make it.
I was SUPER excited, though, when I checked how Brittany did and she got a marathon PR!!!!! So happy for her!

Congrats on completing your half marathon. I am sorry you didn't feel your best during the run though.
