      These days if you can find a multi story building to train in that would be good. If so carry light dumbbells in training, a weight vest, or backpack with weights. Even water bottles in hands help.

      Out of curiosity, what part of your feet were hurting? I biked for half an hour on Monday and my toes were starting to go a little numb, which surprised me, since I was on the recumbent bike and there should have been little to no pressure on my feet, right?!

      A few inches above my littlest toe. On the side. Now having the same pain, on the same area on my right foot. The pain go away after lots of icing and gravity defying stretches...LOL. ps: I'm also a drama queen...=)

      Impact is a big reason... Also peddling and running have different stress profiles on the foot/ankle muscles/bones.

    I tried running for 5km but had to stop at the 2.3km mark. Left foot hurt way too bad.

  15. I injured my left foot playing...wait for it....hopscotch over the weekend. Now it hurts when I run...and I have a 11km run this Saturday. Oh no!
